I'm North, the (slightly obsessive) person behind SL. I discovered Wolfquest when I was 11, and picked up Anniversary Edition sometime in 2019, but I didn't start regularly playing until 2022, which is when I started the Compass Pack, with the ultimate goal of having a developed legacy by the time the Saga came out.
I immediately decided that I wanted to record as much data as I could from my playthroughs, remembering (or having hallucinated) that classic WQ let you see stats such as how many elk you'd killed. WQ:AE didn't have this, so I decided to take it into my own hands, and go a couple steps further. I wanted to be able to look back on my wolves' lives and know what they'd done without relying just on my memory.
And that's what I did! Sattler's Legacy first existed as a Google site, but I always wanted to try my hand at using Neocities instead, so now here I am.
Sattler's Legacy is a personal project dedicated to
tracking the progress of the Compass Pack, an accurate
ironwolf legacy created in 2022 and played in Wolfquest:
Anniversary Edition, a realistic animal simulator that
allows you to live out the life of a gray wolf inside
Yellowstone National Park.
11 generations. Over 60 wolves.
This is the Compass Pack.
